Cladding That Is Providing an ROI!

This building was completed in 2024 using Elemex Solstex BIPV Cladding and Elemex Alumitex Cladding and is a perfect example of how seamless the integration is between the two is using their proprietary UNITY fastening system. The Solstex BIPV is generating 200,000 KWH per year of clean energy to use within the building to power the lights.  In Nova Scotia, that would result in an average savings of around $40,000 per year.

While that may not seem like much, one needs to use perspective. The BIPV cladding is a REPLACEMENT, not an ADD ON. Unlike rooftop solar,  BIPV is integrated into the building facade meaning it is replacing alternative forms of cladding the building owner would have needed to use anyway. The difference is that the BIPV is actually "More than a Pretty Face". While attractive and durable, Solstex BIPV is quietly contributing to reducing the power bill for the owner while effectively reducing carbon emissions.

Here in Canada, all materials and labor related to installing BIPV are eligible for a one time 30% Federal Tax Rebate meaning that the payback is real.  As part of our service, we provide a full and complete solar analysis that will fully outline what you should expect in terms of energy production.

Obviously the higher your base electricity rate is in your jurisdiction, the faster your ROI is achieved.  Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are two provinces where that ROI can be achieved in some cases in less than 5 years.

Elemex uses the ONYX solar cladding technology which is widely viewed to be the best in the world. With over 500 BIPV installations, the track record speaks for itself.  You now have a choice. Clad part of your building in BIPV, or continue paying high power  bills.

Alumitex Installation Underway At CTC Gagetown.

Our partners at Kyan Construction in Fredericton are on site doing another great installation of Alumitex ACM cladding on the new CTC Gagetown Resource Center. These photos show the precision fit returns and corners that are achieved through careful on site measurements and fabrication at our factory in London, ON. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

New BMO
Fredericton North

Our great install partners at Kyan Construction recently completed the Elemex Architectural Cladding Alumitex panels on the new BMO branch in Fredericton.

Although not a huge project, it required very concise measurements and fabrication to accommodate the many return corners.

Additionally, the BMO trademark blue color needed to be matched perfectly which the design team at Elemex was easily able to do

flawlessly.
