Gitpo Renew is an Indigenous majority owned Renewable Energy and Electrification company based in Natoaganeg First Nation on the beautiful Miramichi River in New Brunswick. Led by company President Galen Augustine, former AFN Regional Chief Roger Augustine as Indigenous Consultant and Aiyana Augustine as Community Liaison , Gitpo Renew is changing the narrative about how Canada's First Nation communities participate in the Renewable Energy sector.
Gitpo Renew works closely with Workforce Warriors Canada to identify Indigenous peoples in the communities they work in that may be interested in a career in renewable energy.

These individuals are trained in the technology being installed and then work side-by side with certified contractors during the project installation in the hope that they will gain the skills and confidence to pursue a career energy.
